Hi, I’m Barbara
Born and raised in Virginia, I am a wife, mom and nature nut. I’ve always enjoyed ‘people watching’ and listening to their stories, ideas and dreams for their life.
Yet I found myself stuck in my own story and had little direction on where I wanted to go.
Through the care then loss of my mom, I decided I wanted to make my life count and made it a quest to pursue something more meaningful.
I now guide others to step out, get their bold ideas out there and make a deeper impact with those they serve.

WHAT'S EXCITING?
Through Discover Next Steps (Barbara’s business) there is a local event on Wednesday April 19th, 2023.
Elevate FXBG is a ½ day event on Wednesday, April 19th, at the Silk Mill, to elevate the mental health and well-being of our community helpers in Fredericksburg. This is a professional and personal development experience where attendees walk away with a customized plan and strategies to help them live in more balance, with CEUs and certificates available.
Community helpers can be first responders, medical/health professionals, educators, counselors, nonprofits, caregivers, pastors, and others who are making a social impact. Because of the important work they do in our community, there would be no cost to them as local organizations are sponsoring their way.
